Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts with Bacon is the perfect Thanksgiving side dish this year! Don’t get me wrong, I think this is a great side dish any time of the year but imagining this paired with turkey and mashed potatoes is really getting me hyped for the holidays.

I love this easy side dish recipe because the ingredient list is MINIMAL. The holidays are stressful enough without trying to take on a super complicated recipe. This recipe only requires a few ingredients and will WOW your guests. Those are my favorite kind of recipes, minimal effort with BIG reward!

Ingredient List
Brussels Sprouts
Apples (green or red)
Sweet Onion
Bacon
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper
How to make Brussel Sprouts in the Air Fryer
I made this recipe in my air fryer but you can also make this recipe in the oven if you do not have an air fryer. If you’re in the market for an air fryer, this is the one I have and I love it.
- Start by cleaning and chopping the Brussels and apples. Next slice your onion and cut the bacon into pieces.
- Combine everything into a large bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Spray the inside of your air fryer with non stick spray and then add part of the mixture to the air fryer. You don’t want to over-pack the basket or the mixture won’t get crispy. Add enough to cover the basket with about 1 layer of ingredients. You may need to do this in batches depending on how large your air fryer is. I cooked mine in 2 batches.
- Cook at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

What to serve with Brussels sprouts with
I served this minimal ingredient side dish with chicken and sweet potatoes the first night I made it. The second night we had leftovers and I served it with steak tips and rice.
I personally think this recipe goes with a lot of dishes but I especially think it would be a great Thanksgiving side dish.
