Apple Pie Banana Bread

If you like Apple Pie, you’re going to love this Apple Pie Banana Bread! It tastes nothing like banana bread but that is exactly what I was going for.

I cannot decide if this loaf is a dessert or not. I wasn’t lying when I said it tastes like Apple Pie so to eat it for breakfast feels kind of like eating cake for breakfast!! Now isn’t that what every kid (and adult) dreams about?

The texture is fluffy and soft and the flavors are to die for. Don’t worry about needing apple pie spice for this recipe because we’re making out own! Instead of just using cinnamon, I combined a few spices to make a wonderful Fall flavored combination.

Homemade Apple Pie Spice Ingredients:

Cinnamon

All Spice

Nutmeg

Ginger

Cardamom

Ingredients to make this Apple Pie Banana Bread:

Flour

Banans

Apples

Maple Syrup

Eggs

Butter

Vanilla

Baking Powder

Baking Soda

Vanilla

Salt

Cinnamon

All Spice

Nutmeg

Ginger

Cardamom

Coconut Sugar

How to dress up your loaf:

To make this loaf a true apple pie experience, I suggest warming your slice up and topping with vanilla ice cream. If you’re feeling extra fancy, drizzle with some caramel sauce!

How to store your Apple Pie Banana Bread:

Store your Apple Pie Banana Bread in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or you can freeze it for up to 3 months. If you plan to freeze your bread, wait until it’s completely cooled and then wrap it in tightly in foil. I also like to add it in a freezer bag once it’s wrapped in foil for an extra layer of protection.

For the amount of time listed, what size loaf pan or pans are you recommending?

2 teaspoons of Apple Pie Spice would work as a great sub for all the spices!
