Double Chocolate Bourbon Brownies

Boozy Double Chocolate Bourbon Brownies are fudgy, chocolatey, and the perfect dessert for the upcoming holidays. These brownies can even be made a day or two in advance to save you some time as the holidays get closer. Top these brownies with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and serve with an after dinner bourbon drink and you have the perfect dessert!

Ingredients you will need

1C Flour

1C Brown Sugar

1C White Sugar

4 Eggs

1C Butter Melted

1C Cocoa Powder

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

3 Tbsp Bourbon

1C Chocolate Chips

How to make this brownie recipe

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350.
  2. Melt your butter in the microwave and whip with the sugar.
  3. Add the eggs, vanilla, bourbon, and salt and mix until well combined.
  4. Add the cocoa powder, flour, and chocolate chips. Mix until just combined, do not over mix.
  5. Add to a 9×9 pan covered in parchment paper. Bake for 35 minutes.

Toppings for your brownies

These brownies would go well with so many toppings but these are my favorite:

  • Vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a cherry on top.
  • Chocolate ice cream and a freshly made raspberry compote.
  • Strawberry ice cream, whipped cream, and fresh berries.
  • Chocolate ice cream, peanut butter sauce, whipped cream, and crushed peanuts.
  • Vanilla ice cream, caramel, chocolate sauce, and crushed pecans.
