As the temperature drops, my baking becomes more and more frequent! There’s just something about the cooler weather that makes me want to get in the kitchen and create something yummy for the whole family. I’ve said it many times before, Fall and Winter are my favorite times of the year. These seasons not only bring the cooler weather but also the holidays! They also bring fun activities like fires in the fireplace, family events and the BEST baked goods just like this Easy Paleo Banana Bread.
An all time favorite of mine and pretty much everyone else on the planet is a classic banana bread loaf. It’s usually my go to baked good if I need something to bring to a party, a dinner, or if I just don’t want to show up somewhere empty handed. This loaf is thick, dense, refined sugar free and most of all really delicious. Wherever you bring it, no one will know it’s not made with regular white flour!
My favorite thing about making healthier loaves and breads like this Easy Paleo Banana Bread is the fact that I can eat them for breakfast and not feel too guilty about it. Who wouldn’t want banana bread for breakfast? I love to load my slice up with Greek yogurt and nut butter… can you say YUM?!
What is Paleo?
Paleo is the short term for the Paleolithic diet. The Paleolithic diet revolved around eating foods presumed to have been available to humans during the paleolithic era. So if someone is on the paleolithic diet or just prefers to eat Paleo, they will likely avoid processed foods such as grains and sugar.
Ingredients you’ll need to make Paleo Banana Bread
3/4C Almond Flour
1/3C Coconut Flour
3 Ripe bananas
1/2C Almond butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/4C Maple syrup
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
Pinch of salt
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine your ingredients in a large bowl
- Pour the batter into loaf pan greased or covered with parchment paper
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, remove from the oven when a tooth pick comes out clean
- Let cool, slice and enjoy
- Prep Time: 10 Minutes
- Cook Time: 50-60 Minutes
