Mojitos are one of my favorite Summer cocktails! However, this Fresh Blueberry Lemonade Mojito recipe is going to be my go-to all Summer long. It combines the classic mojito with the sweetness of blueberries and the tartness of lemonade! This recipe makes 2 servings but they are super easy to make for a crowd in a pitcher. Perfect for Summer BBQs or relaxing weekends by the pool.
What is a Mojito?
A Mojito is a traditional Cuban drink made with white rum, sugar, lime juice, mint and club soda. It has a lovely balance of sweet, tart and refreshing and is especially popular in the Summertime.
How to make a Fresh Blueberry Lemonade Mojito?
- Add the blueberries, mint leaves, and rum into a cocktail shaker and muddle until the blueberries are completely smashed then add ice and SHAKE!
- Pour & Strain the mixture into 2 glasses over ice.
- Fill the rest of each glass 3/4 of the way with lemonade.
- Top with a splash of Sprite, blueberries, mint and a lemon slice for garnish.
Can this recipe be made without the alcohol?
OF COURSE! If you’re not a drinker, make this recipe without the rum and you’ll still have a completely delicious Summer drink to enjoy with your friends and family.
