This sweet and spicy Homemade Gingerbread Latte is absolutely perfect for the upcoming holiday season. It’s easy to make and way healthier than any latte you’ll get at Starbucks!
Tis the season to all the cozy flavors like peppermint, eggnog and of course, gingerbread! Can you believe that Christmas is right around the corner? I plan to decorate our house this coming weekend and I’m so excited! Usually I’m a strict no decorations before Thanksgiving kind of gal but let’s be honest… 2020 has been a ridiculous year and if this brings us joy I DON’T CARE.
It kind of feels like the whole world is skipping ahead to Christmas. Starbucks has already broken out their holiday cups and drinks! I absolutely love all of the holiday drink flavors at Starbucks. However, I don’t like the tons of sugar that they each contain! Honestly, I don’t enjoy the prices either!! So the only solution I can think of is make my own at home.
Ingredients you’ll need for a Homemade Gingerbread Latte:
Almond Milk
Espresso
Molasses
Coconut Sugar
Cinnamon
Ginger
Nutmeg
Clove
Whipped Cream (optional)
How to make your own latte:
Making a homemade latte is so much easier than you would think, sometimes I really wonder why I don’t make them more often! All you have to do is add your ingredients into a small sauce pan and wait for it to bubble. Simple enough, right?
