This Orange Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is super refreshing and perfect for the Summer! Honestly, my favorite part about this loaf is that it doesn’t taste like banana bread at all. The orange flavor comes out so well and that mixed with the chocolate chips is such a fun flavor combination! It’s a nice change from your typical banana bread.

This Orange Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is super refreshing and tastes nothing like banana bread! The orange and chocolate combination is divine!

Oranges remind me of soccer games when I was a kid. WEIRD, I know. I don’t know about other kid soccer games but at mine, each parent took turns bringing snacks to the games for half time. An extremely common snack choice was sliced up oranges! When I was younger, I hated oranges; so when that was the snack of choice, I was not a happy camper.

These days I don’t mind oranges at all. I especially enjoy orange juice and there is about 3/4C of freshly squeezed orange juice in this loaf! Plus the zest of 2 oranges. My favorite part about photographing this bread was the fact that you could see the orange zest POP in the photos!

Storing Your Banana Bread:

You can store your banana bread in the fridge for up to 7 days OR you can freeze it for up to 3-4 months. If you’re going to freeze your banana bread, let it fully cool and then tightly wrap it in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Don’t forget to date the bread!
