Happy October from me and this Pumpkin Spice Banana Bread! You’re all incredibly lucky I waited until October to put out my first pumpkin recipe because if we’re being honest… I made this loaf in August! However, I didn’t want to be obnoxious and so I patiently scheduled it for a more appropriate time.
This recipe was first crafted a few years ago and while I was planning my Fall content, I decided it was the perfect time to re-test, re-shoot and re-taste this recipe! I made a few tweaks and it came out even better than it did a few years ago.
I remember my thoughts the first time I made this bread. Ripe bananas were sitting on the counter but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to make banana bread because it was Fall. Once we enter the Fall, all the pumpkin flavored treats scream my name! I decided on a Pumpkin Spice Banana Bread which is a wonderful combination of two of the best breads. Don’t you agree?!
I love a versatile baked good like an easy loaf. You can eat a slice for breakfast, a snack or dessert! I like to pair my loaf slices with yogurt for a more complete meal and don’t forget to microwave the slice for about 30 seconds… it makes all the difference!
