The Perfect Snack Board

March 24, 2020 by Alyssa Fusco 1 Comment

Tell me, is there anything better than a perfect snack board? One thing I love about a snack board is that you can make one anytime for any occasion. Hosting a dinner party? Begin with a snack board! Sunday football? Snack board. Too tired to make a full blown dinner? SNACK BOARD! Last minute guests? You guessed it… snack board.

The perfect snack board is not only easy to make but incredibly fun to put together! Check out all the different ways you can make a killer snack board.

Depending on what you include in your snack board, there should be something for everyone. It’s also easy and fun to put together. Allow your creativity to come out and make it look as pretty, messy or organized as you want.

Snack boards are so perfect for a party, big or small. You won’t have to spend all your time cooking a gourmet meal or fancy appetizers. You will finally be able to enjoy your company! If the board runs out during the party, it’s quick and easy to just replenish.

Okay, let’s talk about how to make the perfect snack board:

Cheese: Cheddar, colby jack, pepper jack, provolone, parmesean… the list goes on. I try to incorporate a soft spreadable cheese as well, like goat cheese.

Spreads: A fruity jam is great to include if you have a soft cheese on your board. Fig jam + brie is an amazing combo!

Crackers: There are so many types of crackers you can add, the choice is yours!

Chips: Potato chips, pita chips, pretzles, plantain chips, sweet potato chips.

Meat: Prosciutto, salumi, soppressata, peperoni.

Nuts: Mixed roasted nuts, trail mix, savory seasoned nuts.

Dried Fruit: Apricots, figs, dates, rasins, craisins.

Fresh Fruit: Strawberries, blackberries, grapes, apples, oranges.

Dips: Hummus, guacamole, tiziki, spinach and artichoke dip.

Vegetables: Carrots, celery, sliced peppers, cucumbers, broccoli.

When putting together your perfect snack board, remember that you can include whatever you want and like! That is the great thing about snack boards, you can get as crazy as you want. Have fun!
